We’re a multi-location fitness company across Manitoba and Alberta. We’re looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper who can take ownership of our day-to-day accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and month-end close across multiple corporations.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
Accounts Payable:

- Process **vendor invoices**, including matching quotes, invoices and receipts to verify accuracy
- Prepare and execute **weekly payment runs** (EFTs, cheques, wires) in line with payment terms
- Maintain **vendor master data** (setup, updates, banking info)
- Investigate and resolve **invoice discrepancies** (pricing, receipts, purchase orders)
- Respond to **vendor inquiries** professionally and promptly
- Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders

Payroll & Bookkeeping
- process biweekly payroll
- Ensure payroll compliance and reporting are accurate and timely
- Reconcile and record receivables
- Reconcile **intercompany transactions** and issue internal invoices
- Maintain accurate financial records across **multiple corporations**

Reporting, Reconciliation & Month-End Close
- Reconcile vendor statements, bank accounts, and corporate credit cards monthly
- Prepare month-end accruals and supporting documentation
- Close the books accurately and consistently across all entities
- Assist with external audits by providing documentation and responses
- Coordinate with external accountant

**What you bring**:
**3+ years in a full-charge bookkeeping or small-business controller role

Direct experience handling AP, payroll, tax remittances, and month-end closes

Proven ability to manage books for multiple corporations

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently

Strong communication skills — you're comfortable dealing with vendors, accountants, and owners

Proficient in QuickBooks and supporting software (Dext, Google Sheets, etc)

Knowledge of Canadian payroll and sales tax systems (GST, PST, source deductions)

This position has flexible hours, but availability between 9-3 on weekdays is preferred. The position starts with 10-15 hours a week, but may increase.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 24 per week
