General Help

The General Help position is responsible for various support functions in production as assigned by the shift supervisor.
This could entail working directly with a machine operator in completing all finishing services for press and digital print projects in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards or working independently on tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate with Production Team and Production Supervisor to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
- Comply with all OHSA safety requirements.
- Follow systems and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Manual.
- Perform bindery support functions including but not limited to: packing, cleaning, material handling, bundling and wrapping, etc.
- Process handwork assembly according to specifications.
- Notify Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Customer Service Rep of any quality or quantity conflict.
- Training and learning machine functions and operation to advance skill set and performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and attention to work station.
- Strong Communication skills
