**PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES**

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible to record, process and verify vendor invoices on a daily basis. As a member of the accounting team, she/he will also be responsible for various balance sheet reconciliations.

**SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage priorities in a structured and efficient way
- Validate, code, compile and enter supplier invoices into the system
- Obtain all required approvals prior to processing invoices
- Match invoices to receipts and purchase order, when applicable
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Provide weekly reporting on scheduled payments
- Process payments and issue checks
- Manage prepayments and ensure timely follow-up and analysis
- Carry out reconciliation of suppliers' statements of account and check their credits
- Respond to various requests from internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Reconcile various Balance Sheet accounts
- Process and record credit cards transactions
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Attention to detail required
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities
- Energetic, passionate and positive can-do attitude a must
