Comprised of the Retail Investment Specialists (RIS), Mobile Mortgage Specialists (MMS), and TD Broker Services Sales Managers, the Specialized Sales Force (SSF) has a mandate to elevate advice and provide the right products and services that align with our customers' needs.

Draw on what you know to generate policies, processes and procedures that address TD's business management, reporting strategy and governance objectives. Find ways to influence the strategic direction of the business management function (and interact regularly with management and Executive Team).

Help shape TD's business management & reporting function's strategic direction by bringing strategies to life in support of TD's overall business vision.
Plan, lead, manage and/or oversee a diverse set of activities and integrated them effectively across multiple functional areas.

wide-ranging enterprise-wide, cross-function or business-specific projects and initiatives and play an instrumental role in identifying, designing and testing solutions and supporting their implementation.
Grow as a thought leader, encourage and facilitate discussion with executive audiences (with outputs which may include: roadmap, strategic plan/deliverables/frameworks, short
- and long-term goals).
Pinpoint issues, seize opportunity, know the trends and provide specialized business management advice to senior management and respective teams (plus raise industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness).
Advocate for and manage relationships with corporate and control functions.
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure an in alignment with risk appetite.
Assess, identify and escalate key issues appropriately, recommend actions.
Respect enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to business management activities.
Ensure business operations comply with internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, duty segregation, transaction approvals, and physical asset control).
Drive relevant governance meetings or committees and related deliverables and outcomes.

It helps if you have:
Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
7+ years relevant experience.
Ability to work autonomously as a lead within a specialized business management and reporting function and provide work direction, seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and guidance to various stakeholders and team members.
Confidence and ability to oversee and work independently on a variety of complex initiatives end-to-end (primarily on short
- to medium
- term issues (6-12 months) requiring specialist knowledge and/or the integration of cross-functional processes (within your own area of expertise).
Thought leadership and/or industry knowledge specific (but not limited to) your own area of expertise.
