Marketing Coordinator

If so, we have an opportunity for you We are looking for the right individual to join our team as the Marketing, Events and Social Media Coordinator.
Tasks Include:
- Post daily content (7 days a week) on social media and respond to comments
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor all community conversations
- Manage and execute content plans and assets including videos and images for all marketing channels, i.e. social media, direct response, paid media, etc
- Manage social media strategy for continuous growth, through social media campaigns, content-partnerships, and in-house creative content
- Create digital content for use on social media and other platforms.
- Create compelling and engaging content that will help scale the company’s digital presence and social outreach.
- Work with the Senior Management Team to ensure the consistency of content strategy and brand consistency work and to obtain approvals for key messages
- Work with other members of the Sales and Service Team and relevant agencies to develop and execute marketing campaigns (including paid advertising campaigns) and initiatives across relevant brand channels on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and manage content calendar for all social media channels to support larger marketing calendar.
- Review the daily mainstream, community and social media reports and identify and assess opportunities and issues of importance.
- Responsible for company’s online reputation management and working with all major and emerging review sites
- Provide on-the-ground support and coordination for key brand events/initiatives as required, including content creation, community management, etc.
- Develop and execute social media contests and campaigns from inception phase to post-campaign analysis.
- Conduct reporting and analysis as required.
- Derive data-driven insights and use them to suggest/inform process and performance improvements.
- Keep abreast of emerging social media platforms, tools and technologies on an ongoing basis.
- Responsible for event planning, campaign planning, and may include internal communications and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work with flexibility as early mornings, late evenings and weekends may be required on occasion, to attend or work at special events.
**Education / Skills Required**:
- Secondary School
- Experience in writing and creating both traditional and digital media.
- An eye for detail, exceptional grammatical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with social media management platforms.
- Experience in the creation of digital content and use of some graphic design tools
- Experience growing corporate social media account channels.
- Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat as well as relevant strategies for each channel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to working across department boundaries and sharing information.
- A self-starter, receptive to challenges, who maintains a positive and professional attitude.
- Exercises good judgment and maintains a balance between “big picture” thinking and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints and competing demands of the industry.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong process and documentation skills.
- Effective writing and communication; creative writing, copy-editing and proofreading skills are required.
- Solid understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
- Social media advertising and influencer marketing experience an advantage.
- Traditional marketing, theory and strategy an advantage.
- Exposure to and understanding of digital marketing and PR.
