**The Company**

**The Job**

Never worked in the fire industry before? We provide in-house and factory training, along with repair path guidance to help you on your journey in this new and exciting industry.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 310T licence is required for this position, with a minimum of **3 years experience**. Current EVT certification is considered an asset, although we are willing to train.
- Previous experience diagnosing, testing, and servicing fire apparatus (Pumps, trucks, valves, monitors etc) is a benefit.
- A strong understanding of electrical systems, electrical diagnostics and hydraulic systems will be required to be successful in this role
- G license, clean driving record and a DZ license or the ability to obtain a DZ is required.
- Understanding of the fire Industry and the ability to build strong core relationships with Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs & Maintenance departments is a helpful.
- Attention to detail, reliability and punctuality will be necessary traits for the incumbent. Dedication to working safely and following the S.O.P's of 1200 Degrees as well as the Fire Halls you service will be important.

**DUTIES INCLUDE: (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)**
- Fire Apparatus repairs, maintenance, service, diagnostics etc.
- Upfitting and updating apparatuses as required.
- Retrofitting parts, pumps, hydraulics, electrical etc.
- Verification of proper operation
- Any and all EVT required repairs
- Adherence to established standards of performance and more.
- **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- Schedule type: Full-time ; Monday - Thursday 7:30AM - 5PM, Friday 7:30AM - 12PM. On Call as needed.
- 3 weeks vacations (6%) after 1 year of employment
- Group insurance after 3 months probation (Life insurance, extended health care, dental and vision care)
- RRSP match after one year of contribution work
- Annual allocation for tools and boots
- Full 1200 degrees branded uniforms
