About the Role

As a 310T Apprentice, you will:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions (engine, transmission, air conditioning, electrical issues) using computer diagnostics, pressure gauges, and other tools.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shop.
  • Recommend system and parts modifications, repairs, or replacements.
  • Assist in maintenance and repair of:
    • Vacuum trucks;
  • Highway trucks;
  • Trailers;
  • Light duty vehicles;
    Agricultural equipment, pumps, and engines.

About You

  • Positive attitude;
  • Flexibility to adjust to changes in repair & work priorities as needed;
  • Level 1 or Level 2 apprenticeship certification is an asset;
  • Valid Driver's license with abstract in good standing;
  • Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required;
    Fleet maintenance experience is considered an asset.

  • Salary Range: $25-32/hr., based on experience;
  • Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week, working a shift from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, year round;
  • Opportunities to develop your skill set across a wide range of equipment;
  • Comprehensive benefits package including extended health, dental, life insurance and vision;
  • RRSP matching program;
  • Boot allowance of $150 after one year of service;
  • $500/year tool allowance after one year of service;
