We are seeking a Grade 7 English Language Arts and Middle School Options teacher who would start on November 18, 2024 and concludes on June 26, 2025.
**We are seeking a teacher who**:
builds strong rapport with students and creates a safe and caring learning environment;
provides an engaging environment for students from a variety of backgrounds including at risk and educationally disengaged students;
works collaboratively as part of an instructional team utilizing flexible groupings within and between classes;
has foundational knowledge in teaching literacy skills;
has a passion for working with an ethnically diverse group of students, including First Nations Metis and Inuit students;
is an excellent written and verbal communicator;
has knowledge of and can deliver primarily Middle School Humanities courses;
is well organized and has ability to deliver a variety of courses to individual students;
has experience teaching the most recent Alberta Middle School Curriculum.
