Our kitchens are the heart of our hotels, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Food preparation and cooking
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards
- Assist in the development of daily specials and new menu items

**Kitchen Operations**:

- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including proper rotation of ingredients
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service

**Inventory and Supplies**:

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the Kitchen Manager
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of ingredients
- Minimize waste by utilizing ingredients efficiently

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Support fellow team members during busy service periods
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment

**Customer Service**:

- Respond to guest feedback and requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Strive to exceed guest expectations with every dish prepared

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Cook 1 or similar role is a high-volume kitchen environment
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- In-depth knowledge of food and safety and sanitation standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Food Handler's certification required; Smart Serve certification is an asset
