**About the Role**

As a Client Consulting Manager - Banking & Financial Services (Delivery Governance), you will make an impact by serving as the primary point of accountability for the successful delivery and governance of all IT and consulting services within an assigned client account portfolio. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services Consulting team and work collaboratively with client executives, delivery leads, and internal stakeholders.

**In this role, you will**:

- Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with client C-suite and senior business leaders within the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) sector.
- Lead the end-to-end management of account P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance assessment (margin, revenue, client satisfaction).
- Ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget execution of all projects and managed services programs, working closely with global delivery teams.
- Establish and lead robust governance forums, monitor key project metrics (KPIs/SLAs), proactively identify risks, and drive mitigation strategies to guarantee successful client outcomes.
- Consistently demonstrate the Cognizant Way to Lead, operating with personal, organizational, and business leadership.

**Required skills: what you need to be considered**
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a client-facing, account management, or senior program/delivery management role in IT professional services or management consulting.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) vertical.
- Proven track record in leading and managing IT and consulting programs with a focus on delivery governance and client outcomes.
- Experience managing account P&L, including metric reporting and financial assessment.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively to business stakeholders up to the C-suite.
- Bachelor’s degree required.

**Preferred skills: what will help you stand out**
- MS or MBA degree.
- Strong background in a project environment focused on core banking platforms, risk management systems, or digital transformation within BFS.
- Familiarity with global service delivery models (onshore/offshore/nearshore).
- Experience leading operational and delivery performance review meetings with client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Demonstrated thought leadership in BFS industry trends and regulatory changes.
