**Field Service Technician - Unlicensed**:
This position reports directly to the Regional Service Manager. The following summarizes some key elements of the role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield’s health and safety policy programs and initiatives;
- Repair and service equipment on site
- Perform inspections on equipment on job site
- Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner
- Maneuver efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situations
- Provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced
- Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions;
- Ensure vehicle is maintained and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield’s health and safety policy programs and initiatives;
- Extensive background and knowledge of construction equipment and the necessary parts and services to maintain and repair;
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs;
- Existing knowledge of the service/maintenance requirements for all types of construction equipment including Genie, Skyjack and CAT;
- Ability to work independently, skilled in time management and organization;
- Supervisory experience and previous leadership experience;
- Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work to meet the demands of the business;
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be considered beneficial);
- A customer-centric and positive attitude; good communication skills;
- A valid G-class driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is mandatory.

**Additional Qualifications**:

- Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting; as heavy lifting will be required frequently;
- Your own tools are required

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Wage**: $23.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience.
