The Jonah Group is looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic **Technical Writer** to join our team of accomplished tech professionals to produce custom, high-quality software solutions.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Updates, edits, and proofreads written materials such as manuals, runbooks, etc.
- Adhere to company style guide.
- Conduct research on the specified area of topic.
- Lead initiatives to improve content quality and usability.
- Research and analyze the customer’s documentation requirements and create documentation plan.

**Your Preferred Profile**:

- Ability to understand and accurately translate technical information for a general audience.
- Possess in-depth understanding of software development technologies and methodology
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Past work experience in software industry a plus.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments.
- 7-10 years of experience as technical writer
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Portfolio of technical writing samples for review.
