**Intermediate Environmental Planner**

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Planning or related discipline;
- 5 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge and experience in obtaining environmental permits and approvals requirements, natural heritage policies and protocols and environmental legislation.

**The Role**:

- Engage with clients to develop and execute work plans;
- Manage baseline environmental studies, environmental assessments, environmental management strategies, and plans including research, report writing, field work, and stakeholder and regulatory consultation;
- Coordinate work with other environmental specialists (i.e. noise, air, archaeology, built heritage, fisheries, terrestrial ecologists, etc.).
- Collect and synthesize scientific literature, existing data sets and secondary source material for technical reports;
- Lead and support permitting, and approvals related to the natural environment (e.g., _Environmental Protection Act, Fisheries Act, Impact Assessment Act_); and
- Deliver high-quality environmental services to agreed budgets and deadlines.
