Service Technician

Provides evaluation, maintenance, and repair services for blowers and compressor packages at customer worksites located in Eastern Canada and Quebec.

Diagnose and recommend action, complete machine repairs, prepare reports and communicate actions as needed.

Supports customers, service partners and co-workers with technical expertise regarding Aerzen equipment's.

- Essential Functions Statement(s)_
- Inspect, evaluate, and repair equipment at customer's location using best practices for root cause analysis and quality service provision.
- Communicate with customers to discuss job requirements, provide recommendations and service options, listen to customer concerns, and provide status updates during service call and at completion.
- Evaluate customer future needs and communicate information through appropriate channels.
- Complete job-related reports and forms on a timely basis.
- Back-up as repair technician, assembly technician, and/or customer support specialist when not on a service call.
- Serve as a resource to co-workers in technical matters and as back-up support.
- Complete repairs of blowers and compressors according to Aerzen repair guidelines.
- Read, understand and use mechanical drawings, specifications, diagrams, etc.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**

Experience : Two to four years related experience

**Computer Skills**:
Ability to easily navigate between various software programs and internet sites after training, basic data entry skills, basic knowledge of MS Office programs.

**Certificates & Licenses**:
Valid driver’s license

**Other Requirements**:

- Related Work experience must included customer service and mechanical repair of automotive or rotating equipment.

**OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Vision (Near, Depth Perception)
- Sense of Touch
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, work gloves, welding mask)

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- rotating equipment: 2 years (preferred)
