We are currently looking for a Shift Manager to help us achieve our goal of being a Top Tier Employer and The Best Quick Service Restaurant in Canada At Speed Foods we strive to "WOW" every guest that walks through our doors by giving them extraordinary customer service with great tasting food. **Job description** **A&W Langley is Expanding Their Management TEAM** We are looking for a Supervisor for our Portkells location in Langley. **Qualifications & Skills**: - Advanced understanding of all quick-service restaurant operations - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Ability to coach, train and motivate team members - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment - Dealing with Guest Concerns and winning them back; - Computer knowledge in Office or OpenOffice; - Professional positive team leader, dependable, takes initiative; - Should expect to work 24+ hours per week; - Must be available to work flexible hours overnights, weekends and holidays. **Responsibilities & Duties**: - Training, leading and coaching team members to achieve our brand standards of exceptional Quality, Service and Cleanliness. - Building sales and profitability through excellent operations - Accountable for operating profitability by monitoring and controlling food, paper and labor costs while on shift - Ensuring all Team Members are trained to deliver exceptional quality, service and cleanliness through initial and ongoing training - Ensuring all company programs, practices and systems are implemented and executed properly - Working with the management team to identify problem areas and work with them to come up with and implement solutions - Creating and maintaining a positive work climate that promotes best-in-class. - Dealing with guest concerns and winning them back **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 24-40 per week **Salary**: From $15.65 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evenings - Morning shift - Night shift Ability to commute/relocate: - LANGLEY, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Retail management: 1 year (required) Work Location: One location
