**Job Overview**
The Royal Hotel Chilliwack is looking to hire a dedicated and detail oriented Front desk agent who can perform some housekeeping duties. We would like you to help us in providing exceptional service to our guests.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends and holidays as needed

**Duties**
- Greet guests and follow procedure to check-in guests
- Answer phones and respond to guests' inquiries
- Manage vacancies, make reservations, and assign rooms
- Collects payments, processes credit cards, and handles cash transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing complaints, providing information about the hotel, or giving recommendations for local attractions or restaurants.
- Vacuuming and Mopping the lobby
- Doing laundry, Ironing sheets and linens
- And performing other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-year experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication and Customer Service skills.
- Work well with minimum supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with hotel management software and reservation systems.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and calculate bills.
- Problem solving skills and ability to address guest concerns and find solutions.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment
- Have attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Physical ability to be on your feet for long hours

You must provide two work related references and have a flexible schedule.
