We are a small ISO-registered medical device manufacturer located in east Toronto. We are experiencing multiple years of double-digit sales growth and are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team.

Position: Caretaker/Cleaner

Work Hours: From 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with occasional work hours during weekends
Status: Fulltime

**Salary**: 19$/hour + overtime

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning washrooms including toilets.
- Various janitorial duties including cleaning of kitchen and kitchen appliances, lunch room and offices
- Mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and emptying garbage from both office and warehouse
- Event Preparation and breakdown
- Wash floors using floor scrubber
- Maintain clean warehouse
- Manage cleaning, PPE and kitchen supplies
- **Outside duties**:

- Snow Plowing parking lot / Shovel and salt entrance way
- Dump garbage in garbage/recycling bin
- Cut up skids with power saw
- Comply with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures including PPE protocols
- Adhere to plant safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment. Follow all Company policies and procedures including ISO quality standards
- Other duties as required

**Physical demands and abilities**:

- Regularly lift and / or move objects weighing under 1 and up to 50 lbs
- Frequently required to stand / walk / stoop (a posture in which the head and shoulders are bent forward and downward) over an seven-hour period
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Fast-paced environment, physically demanding,
- Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required to regularly lift and move boxes weighing up to 50lbs
- Kobuta snowplow experience an assest
- Factory Cat Industrial floor scrubber an asset
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Good Communication & Writing Skills
- Must be able to work weekends and extra hours as required
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
