- Grow your skills in forest product certification systems by conducting audits, submitting reports, and collaborating with experienced team members to improve service delivery and internal workflows.
- Represent Preferred by Nature in meetings, training sessions, and industry events across Ontario and Quebec, helping raise awareness of sustainability standards and strengthening our impact in the region.

**Your first year with us**
- Within three months, you will:_
- Complete onboarding and technical training, including FSC standards, trademark use, and audit planning procedures.
- Shadow at least two audits and assist with scheduling, budgeting, and document coordination.
- Support initial client engagement and data entry in internal systems like Salesforce.
- Within six months, you will:_
- Lead FSC CoC audits independently and manage planning and logistics for assigned clients.
- Handle certification inquiries, finalize consultant agreements, and ensure database accuracy.
- Attend PEFC CoC training and support monitoring of certification statuses.
- Within one year, you will:_
- Operate independently as Lead Auditor and Client Manager across your full portfolio.
- Ensure audit consistency, data quality, and contribute to system/process improvements.
- Represent Preferred by Nature at stakeholder events and support less experienced colleagues.

**Important that you**:

- Have a degree in forestry, environmental science, supply chain, or related field
- Have at least 2 years of experience in forest products, printing, packaging, or environmental management (or 4 years without a university degree)
- Possess strong communication skills in English; French is an asset
- Are familiar with certification standards such as FSC, PEFC, or SFI
- Are organized, analytical, and capable of balancing technical precision with client service
- Are comfortable working with digital tools (Excel, Salesforce, etc.)
- Are willing to travel occasionally across Canada

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you

**What Sets Us Apart**:
