**Job Summary**

The supply chain coordinator reports directly to the Supply Chain & Compliance Supervisor and ensures the smooth delivery of goods from our factories to all distribution centres.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**
- One year of international logistics experience is required
- SCMP designation preferred
- Must be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Must be able to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent listening, verbal and written skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Logistics and Port Operations is an asset

**Working Conditions**
- 40 hours per week; occasional overtime required

**Primary Accountabilities**
- Schedule incoming freight into all warehouses
- Track Inbound freight shipments
- Adding new shipments/deleting received shipments from the freight log multiple times a day
- Compare freight log to freight carriers' weekly log to ensure the accuracy of information
- E-mail freight log daily to the selected distribution list
- Plan and monitor all Air Freight shipments
- Process freight supplier invoices accurately and promptly
- Create transfer breakdowns from existing Inbounds
- Receive shipments electronically
- Actively participate in all customs and freight reviews & proposals
- Handle difficult situations with freight partners in a professional manner
- Strengthen current relationships with freight partners
- Stay informed of current market conditions as they pertain to or have the potential to affect inbound shipments
- Track and report on key metrics in the supply chain
- Continually identify opportunities for efficiencies in our supply chain
- Willingness to educate Purchasing and Operations teams on new developments in the supply chain
- Provide coverage during vacation/sick time to the Supply Chain & Compliance Supervisor
- Participate in Social Responsibility audits
- Assist in other areas of the Purchasing department and additional duties as required by management
