We are looking to hire a Building Maintenance Manager to join our team and assist with the daily requirements of operating within our beautiful 119 year-old facility.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Opening and closing of building as required
- Normal working days/hours - Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (8 hours, including 30 minute unpaid lunch break)
- Evening and weekend availability as required
- Public washroom supply replenishment (twice daily and as required)
- Laundry requirements (daily)
- Patching and painting of walls, as required
- Minor repairs to facility, as required (basic plumbing, basic carpentry, basic electrical)
- Facility cleaning, as required (contracted night cleaner for building)
- Exterior property maintenance, as required
- Tidying of all back-of-the-house areas, as required and ongoing
- Assisting with room setup of catering rooms on a daily basis and as required (moving of furniture)
- Liaising and arranging third party private contractors, as required (plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians)
- Monitoring of HVAC system
- Monitoring and suggesting improvements to ongoing maintenance requirements of facility
- Ordering of maintenance related supplies
- Sourcing and pickup of some maintenance related supplies
- Other duties as assigned and requested
