Our cutting-edge technologies and solutions are trusted by military and commercial customers worldwide. We are currently seeking an Quality Manager to join our Ottawa based team

**What will you be doing?**
- Provide leadership for the development and promotion of a Quality culture and excellence in line with MMIST’s overall Quality Strategy
- Ensure compliance to AS9100D quality management system by providing direction and support to the MMIST Process Owners.
- Proactively work with all key stakeholders to support and facilitate problem solving, continual improvement activities.
- Develop, reinforce and lead the roll out of advanced quality planning with appropriate disciplines.
- Ensure and support activities, such as MRB, root cause analysis, auditing, risk-based management and Cost-of-Quality.
- Establish and report on performance KPI's to management teams.
- Develop effective Measure Systems Analysis (MSA).

**What do we need from you?**
- Experience in a similar role Quality Manager role within a electronics, avionic, automotive, defence, space or similar advanced manufacturing Industry
- Good understanding of advance quality tools (e.g. FMEA, control plans), life cycle management and/or advanced product quality planning (APQP)
- Excellent knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis tools (e.g. 8D, DMAIC)
- Excellent understanding of AS9100 / ISO 9001
- Experience in quality auditing to AS9100/ISO9001/DAOS including the Supply Chain is preferred.
- ASQ certification for CQM-OE, CQT, CQA is also highly desirable.
