Are you ready to help protect your customer’s homes with a fully integrated, inclusive approach? As a Wildlife Technician at Terminix, that’s just what you’ll do. Every day, you’ll build long lasting relationships with your customers, helping to protect what matters most to them. We are currently hiring for a construction based position, for our Wildlife Team. In this position, you will assist clients with removing wildlife from their home, through various exclusion and trapping methods. You may also be working on large scale commercial projects, helping some of our biggest clients with bird deterrents and working on aerial lifts

There is a certain level of pest control with this position, so only applicants that are confident with pests (rodents, skunks, raccoons, insects, etc) should apply.

- They maintain good communication with the office with completing required reporting in a timely fashion, and complete their work according to safety procedures.
- They maintain a valid driver’s license and clean criminal record
- They have a High school diploma
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Construction experience considered a strong asset

**DUTIES** (but not limited to)**:

- Quote on and carry out wildlife control solutions for residential, and commercial clients according to pre-scheduled and on call dispatching
- Enter attic spaces and crawlspaces, climb ladders, work on high rise balconies, work on roof tops, and utilize aerial lifts
- Inspect buildings and exterior areas to identify where wildlife is taking refuge outside of their natural environment, and relocate them
- Install barriers to help guide wildlife out of potentially dangerous situations inside residential and commercial structures
- Clean and sanitize former areas of dangerous harborage areas
- Bird trapping/spiking/nest removal according to Ministry of Environment and SPCA guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
