QUALITY TECHNICIAN _ _JOB POSTING_

Rhema Health Products Limited is a contract manufacturer of natural health products, dietary supplements, and foods.. Rhema is currently seeking an individual to join the Quality department for day shift.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be able to work mornings for 8.5 hours between from 5:30am to 2pm or 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Must be local and living in the Greater Vancouver Area. Must have a car and be able to drive to work daily (bus service timing will not work for this position).
- Interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
- Practical knowledge of quality control methods and process control techniques
- Excellent communication, planning, mathematical, fast/efficient/hard-working
- Be able to use Excel and Word
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and time sensitive conditions
- Demonstrates extreme accuracy and precision in a lab and in-process environment
- Will be assigned afternoon shift and weekends as business continues to grow

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Sample incoming raw materials and in-process production samples (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)
- Review raw material CofA’s on receipt of goods to match incoming physical shipments
- Prepare samples for external lab testing
- Enter lab results into ERP system
- Spend time on production floor to ensure that manufacturing and packaging operations are complying with GMP and sampling raw materials.
- Conduct environmental swabs and settle plates
- Perform in-house gluten testing using rapid kits
- In-Process quality checks
- Scan and upload documentation (CofA's, lab results, etc) into document management system

**SECONDARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Review production documents for accuracy and good documentation practices
- Check the correct equipment is being used in each area as written in the MWO and PWO.
- Check that all areas are clean and maintained in a sanitary manner during production.
- Review the in-process documents and check that all entries are up to date and correct in each production area.
- Conduct Pre-Line clearance in each room before use.
- Conduct Post-Operation clean up verification.
- Conduct ATP-Swabs and Allergen Swab throughout the day.
- Conduct in-house testing (weight checks, disintegration test for capsules/tablets, friability/hardness for tablets)
- Enforce standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
