The QA Specialist is responsible for the development, maintenance, tracking and control of all critical documentation required by Health Canada Regulations as well as foreign regulatory bodies (i.e. ICANNG.A.P, EU GMP).
- The creation, revision, review, approval, distribution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Forms.
- Assigning and tracking of training on SOPs.
- Tracking all required document changes.
- Tracking document review/expiry dates.
- Maintaining a master list of SOPs.
- Monitoring document changes for ICANNG.A.P and EU GMP document requirements.
- Manage Document Control manually with the ultimate goal of harmonizing data into one electronic system.
- Work with different departments to assist with document collaborations.
- Review/revise current Document Control Process.
- Understand Change Control Process.
- Performing general filing.
- Providing monthly metrics
Experience Required:

- Experience with document management systems (both paper and electronic Document Management Systems).
- Experience reviewing, revising and releasing SOPs.
- Experience working in a licence Cannabis Producer would be an asset
- Experience with assigning and tracking training requirements.
- Experience with information systems, electronic training records, training modules.
- Experience with writing technical documents/procedures
- Experience/Training in GACP, GMP environments.
- Working knowledge of Health Canada, ICANNG.A.P and EU Regulations.
- Ability to work interdepartmentally and communicate effectively with various departments.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Organization Skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years QA experience
- Science degree in biology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, quality assurance or equivalent
- Quality Assurance Certificate an asset
- Security Clearance and RCMP security check will be required and is considered an asset
The QA Specialist may be exposed to pollen, allergens, and chemical pesticides at the facility. As well as fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water.
