WalterFedy is seeking a Junior Specification Writer to assist in preparing project manuals for a variety of complex building and project types in our collaborative, multi-disciplinary firm.

What You Will Do
- Work under direction of Senior Specification Writer and assist in the preparation of project manual for projects covering all industry sectors.
- Review architectural drawings and collect materials information necessary for preparing architectural specifications.
- Assist with materials and construction assembly research.
- Assist with preparation of specifications packages for different phases of projects.

What You Bring to the Table
- Post-secondary education in Building Science, Architectural Technology/Technician, or equivalent is required.
- Organizd technical thinker, with a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of CCDC contracts, the Ontario Building Code and the Act.
- Advanced computer literacy and strong typing skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Ability to read and provide accurate materials descriptions from architectural drawings.
- Willingness to take Constriction Specifications Canada spec writing courses.
- A member or willing to become a member of CSC.
