Wheels for wise is a Veteran Affairs independence program affiliate who assist Veterans and others to get to and from medical appointments, such as doctors appointments, physio, dentist, day surgeries, massage and many others. **We are currently looking for a driver/support worker in Nova Scotia**

What we are looking for:
Veteran / Retired RCMP preferred but not necessary Position is part-time / Casual 5 to 30hrs a week which depends mostly on employees request

MUST have clean drivers abstract

MUST pass vulnerable sector check

MUST be able to temporarily support someone's weight

Mileage Paid when utilizing personal vehicle

PREFERRED Location of driver is in HRM, but not necessary.

Polite and Caring Demeanor

Smartphone required

**Experience with individuals with PTSD is an asset**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- On call
