**Your Role**:

- Identify, analyze and assess interest rate risks across the various ALM processes.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize advanced financial models for forecasting and strategic analysis.
- Participate in the development of investment strategy recommendations and adjustments to improve financial performance and reduce risk.
- Support the team in the creation of accurate and detailed reports, meeting regulatory and internal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative initiatives into treasury risk management and ALM strategy.

**Your Team**:
Within NBC’s Asset and Liability Management team, you will be part of a team of 10 colleagues and report to the ALM Managing Director and Head. Our team stands out for its cross-functional ALM role for NBC, the quality of its deliveries and its development of specialized expertise, as well as its collaborative and enriching work environment. We make sure that interest rates and affiliated risk from all ALM functions are well identified, assessed and managed.

**Prerequisites**:

- University degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Professional experience in finance, risk management, modeling, or bank treasury **(*Job title and level will depend on the selected individual's experience)**.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL programming, with experience using statistical and quantitative tools.
- Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
- Understanding of asset-liability management principles, financial risks, and banking products.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Knowledge of QRM, an asset.
