**The Opportunity**
The **Packing Associate** is responsible for picking and packing customer orders.
**Job Duties**
- Picking and packing orders from the line to prepare for shipping
- Boxing various product appropriately and accurately
- Create barcodes as necessary, scan orders and attach hangers and prices to product
- Process returns
- Complete and follow paperwork with a high level of accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Diploma in a manufacturing related field is an asset
- 6 months or more experience is an asset
- Forklift, Order Picker, and Raymond Picker experience and training is an asset
- Intermediate Microsoft Office, computer and telephone skills
- High attention to detail with an ability to count, check and confirm quantities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills, relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Proactive attitude and takes initiative to prevent issues
- Well-organized, enthusiastic, professional and a positive team member
- Safety minded and willingness to learn new skills
- Continuous heavy lifting may be required, up to 60lbs

- **Hours**: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 4:15pm and Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm

- Hourly Wages, Paid Weekly by Direct Deposit:
- Probationary Partner - $16.50
- Training Partner - $18.22
- Associate Partner - $19.72
- Partner - $20.13
**About Us**
Custom Leather Canada Limited is the largest, and one of the oldest leather accessory and belt manufacturers in Canada. The company began producing consumer leather products in 1949 and has been in continuous operation since that time. We operate out of a 70,000 sq. foot state of the art manufacturing facility in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
The company wholesales goods under a number of product lines. Our main business involves the manufacture and import of Men's and Women's belts, which we ship to our customers throughout Canada and the United States. Our belts are sold under our own brands, our customers' private labels, as well as Silver Jeans Co, Bosca, Vince Camuto, Totes®, and other brands under license.
Our customers include all avenues of retail, including major department stores, specialty stores, as well as independent men's and ladies wear stores. We also manufacture and distribute a wide variety of small leather goods and accessories.
