**MCL Group Ltd.** is looking to add experienced **Geomembrane Installation Technicians** to our Construction team This full-time, permanent position will require extensive travel to job sites located across British Columbia and Alberta.

**Experience Required**:

- Installing and welding of geosynthetic products.
- Utilizing hand tools to support the installation.
- Communicating with your supervisor and co-workers.
- Understanding of layout and field seaming procedures. Experience with both wedge and extrusion welder setup and operation.
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Geomembrane Installation Technicians will have minimum 1 year of industry experience
- Be able and willing to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time up to 24 days
- Be able to successfully pass pre-employment test as a requirement for site specific access

**Requirements of all applicants**:

- Must have a Class 5 Drivers License
- Ability to travel to remote locations and to be away from home up to 24 days at a time
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week (weather dependent)
- Able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Positive and safety conscious attitude
- Must have CSTS 2020, and H2S Alive
- Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol testing

Language of work: English. Spoken and written.

**Salary**: $26.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Acheson, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Installing/Welding Geosynthetic Products: 1 year (preferred)
- wedge and extrusion welder setup and operation: 1 year (preferred)
- geosynthetic installation: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- H2S Alive (preferred)
- CSTS (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
