Project Manager

The role of Project Manager at Avion Technologies will be to take on the responsibility of managing customer accounts, liaising with internal departments, and facilitating the meeting of customer expectations. They will regularly face the client and communicate and ensure their expectations are being met on-time internally by each department involved in their parts program/job. Additionally, the Program Manager will engage in sales development activities with clients; building and leveraging relationships with existing clients to secure more work. They will be in constant communication with clients to facilitate understanding and to build a rapport that will convey Avion’s intention to earn more work opportunities. They will communicate client expectations to the internal teams/members involved to manage each job’s deliverables. The responsibility of the on-time and on-budget completion of each job will fall on this individual, and where such deliverables cannot be met - the Project Manager will communicate the situation to the customer.

Job Responsibilities:

- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
- Build and leverage existing client relationships to secure more work
- Ensuring that deliverables are met on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Developing project plans and processes to monitor and track the process on all ongoing work
- Be aware of and prepared to discuss/present the KPI’s of each open project/job
- Facilitate the flow of information between departments for each specific project/job
- Communicate project/client expectations with the internal team(s) involved
- Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and risks including construction of gantt charts and critical path identification.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Communicate updates on project/job status to the customer to manage expectations
- Oversee and provide support to internal teams regarding outstanding projects to ensure on-time delivery of projects/jobs
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Engaging in conversations with clients to understand where and how Avion could better meet their needs
- Oversee and ensure that processes are running smoothly and being followed by those members involved
- Track and report on project performance, including suggestions for improvement
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments/suggestions to project constraints based on financial analysis

Qualification
- 3+ years of proven working experience in project management
- 1+ years of experience in engineering or manufacturing related fields
- Understanding of the terminology and processes involved in the aerospace manufacturing industry
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Project Management Professional (PMP)certification is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Experience with project management software tools

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
