**VG Meats is looking for an Order Desk Sales Team Member in Simcoe, ON**

The individual in this position will use their outstanding customer service, attention to detail, organization, and exceptional computer skills to facilitate all internal and external customer needs. They will act as the window between our customers, both internal and external, and our production team to ensure all customers receive the absolute best service and the production team receives all information required to fulfill the customer needs.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Handle all inbound telephone calls
- Order input
- Internal software
- Filing systems
- Customer service
- Printing customer orders
- Creation and maintenance of specialized order forms as applicable.
- Third-party Bill of lading (BOL) creation and booking
- Internal communication relating to orders
- Help with basic office functions
- Direct credit requests and invoicing concerns to the correct departments for resolution.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills
- Develop product knowledge and stay current with promotional events and sales
- Assisting with material ordering
- Order guide/ Price list creation
- Maintaining customer-specific notes
- Troubleshooting order related problems.
- Answering internal product/ order questions
- Assist in resolving credit requests and invoicing concerns.
- Bizerba data maintenance
- Biolinks data maintenance
- SKU maintenance
- Participate in SKU creation process
- Training
- Continuous improvement project participation
- Data reporting as requested
- Other duties as required

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Exceptional customer service skills (enthusiastic, friendly, energetic & mature)
- Availability to work limited extra hours in evenings or occasional weekend
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with many departments within the company
- Great attention to detail
- Well developed and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated keen sense of responsibility for service to external and internal customers
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and/or possesses prior knowledge of food industry perishable goods
- Reliable transportation and attendance dependability
- Well developed computer skills and demonstrated ability to learn new systems
