Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects from initiation to completion. This includes low voltage systems such as Audio Visual, Communications, Life Safety & Security Systems. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking and organizational skills. **Responsibilities**:

- Ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and time lines.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings and plans
- Analyzes conceptual design documents, design briefs, project specific output specifications, tender drawings and other documents provided within a project
- Excellent relationship management with the client and project stakeholders including regular onsite and remote meetings.
- In-depth understanding of construction contract documents and ability to understand complex technical details.
- Knowledge of local and provincial workplace compliance regulations, Including Health & safety.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Project, Adobe & Bluebeam
- Plan, execute, and monitor projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task assignments
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct risk management assessments and develop contingency plans as needed
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies

**Experience**:

- College Diploma/Certificate
- Project management Certificate or Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
- Knowledge of Ontario health and safety legislation
- 3-5 year of proven working experience as a project administrator or project manager with projects including working knowledge of IT systems
- Previous project management experience within Hospitals & Long-Term Care is an asset
- Previous project management experience within the Audio Visual environment is an asset
- Experience on P3 (Public Private partnership) projects and/or hospital experience would be an advantage
- Audio Visual systems knowledge an asset
- Valid Ontario Driver's License
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to effectively present project updates and reports to stakeholders

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
