Veterinary Medical Receptionist

We are a dynamic, privately owned clinic veterinary hospital looking for a Medical Veterinary Receptionist who would be a perfect fit to join our team. We have expanded with a brand new facility for a 24/7 Urgent Care Hospital.

**Experience in veterinary reception is preferred**with knowledge of companion animals (dogs, pocket pets, and cats) medical care, health, diet, or training. Bilingual (English/French) is a strong preferred but not mandatory. You must provides product information to our clients as required, and maintains inventory for the reception and lobby. Must maintain the overall cleanliness of the reception area.

You will be responsible for answering phones, invoicing clients, scheduling and maintaining appointments for 4+ veterinarians, and greeting patients. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient records and submitting insurance information.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of Administrative or clerical experience in veterinary clinical setting.
- Computer proficiency
- Time management skills
- Organized
- Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards
- Dependability and promptness
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills, French would be an asset
- Attention to detail

Schedule:

- 8-10 hour shift
- Day, evening and overnight shifts
- Must be available on weekends.

Pay: $18.75-$23.00 per hour
