**The Role**

We are currently recruiting two experienced **Coating Applicators/Sandblasters**to work out of our Fabrication Shop. This role will report into the Coating Manger

**Compensation/Benefits**
- $35 - $45 per hour based on experience
- Overtime after 8 hours per day
- 10% vacation and stat pay on all regular hours worked
- Benefits 50/50 split after 90 days with the company

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- 8 to 12 hours per day, work on weekends as required. 7:00 am start time.
- Blasting a variety of surfaces including, pipe, structural, and equipment.
- The safe operation and maintenance of equipment while adhering to the companies Safe Work Practices and PPE guidelines.

**Qualifications/Desired Skills**
- Journeyman Painter ticket considered an asset.
- Plural pump & spray experience required
- Facility sandblasting experience required
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an industrial painter
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Must be able to work with a high PSI hose. No cabinet blasters.
- Experience with epoxies, urethanes and grouts.
- Has reliable transportation
- Must have a class 5 driver’s license with a good driving abstract
- May be required to pass a drug and alcohol test for certain project based work
- Prefer applicants to have Denso, SPC, Stopaq, NACE/AMPP coating tickets
- Extra consideration given to those that have the following tickets: PCST, Defensive Driving, LSE, Fall Protection, H2S Alive, Confined Space
- Looking for someone who is flexible, reliable and experienced.
- Versatile: Happy to blast, paint and support project needs as well as perform other duties as required to support the project/team.
