**Job Summary**
Brock Rock is a Camrose based Aggregate Crushing & Sales and Transport Company. We are a family owned and managed company working throughout Alberta crushing and transporting gravel with an average of 50 employees.
**Duties**
- Working with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using QuickBooks.
- Processing incoming payments and make bank deposits.
- Receive, process and reconcile statements.
- Generate and review monthly reports.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist with preparation for year end.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts and invoices.
- Perform administrative and other tasks as needed.
**Requirements**:
- CPA preferred but not necessary.
- Strong base knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes and principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding time management, math and research skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Deadline driven with excellent time management skills.
