To keep up with our growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Material Handler / Inventory Control
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Inspect the quality and quantity of items
- Operate material handling equipment to move material within and around the warehouse in a safe and timely manner
- Receiving and handling of dangerous goods
- Follow company policies and manufacturing processes to include safety regulations, quality procedures, work instructions and documentation requirements.
- Organize stock in the most efficient way
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Manage disposal of wood waste into bins. Arrange pick up of wood waste and dust bins as required.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in daily inventory control, monthly cycle counts and yearly inventory counts
- Enter material transactions in _Sage 300 - Inventory Control_ software in a timely manner
- Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis
- Supports continuous improvement by providing feedback on ways to improve processes, standards, etc.
- Support Inventory Controller
- Be willing and able to fill in and assist in all areas of the warehouse

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Material Handler, Inventory Controller, Receiving Clerk or similar position
- Experience in operating forklifts
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Post-secondary education preferred - Minimum high school diploma
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Good physical condition
- Certification preferred - training can be provided:

- Operation of Walkie Reach Stacker
- Operation of Reach Truck
- Operation of Propane Sit-Down Counterbalance
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- WHMIS

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
