This posting is for a Material Handler on an **overnight shift (11PM-7AM)**

**As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Accurate picking, packing and consolidating of material before staging.
- Perform daily shipping tasks invoicing and loading trailer.
- Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments using Oracle WMS.
- Sort and places material on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, product types or by departments.
- Communicate any order discrepancy to senior material handler or Manager.
- Maintain customer service standards for both internal and external customer.
- General warehouse maintenance.
- Learn and adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations, both legislatively mandated and as outlined in company policy.

- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Previous experience in warehousing or material control required.
- Previous experience in a computerized parts inventory environment with Shipping/Receiving knowledge would be an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials.
- Licensed to operate counter balance or reach fork truck.
- Must be willing to perform shift work, including night, weekends and statutory holidays, based on the needs of the business.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Pay, benefits, and work schedule as per the Metro Cable Association Salary Plan.
