Hey Wire Electric (Hey Wire) is an Edmonton-based electrical industrial supply company with affiliates throughout Canada and the United States. We are looking for a self-motivated warehouse associate with excellent attention to detail and safety to join our growing team. If you are looking for stable, full-time, indoor work in a busy, high-performance corporation, then this job may be for you.

**Position responsibilities include**:

- Work independently to pick, pack, and ship orders.
- Unpack and inspect incoming shipments.
- Call couriers to arrange shipments.
- Get or maintain certification on industrial equipment (e.g., forklift, scissor lift).
- Get trained on and use our scanning and order processing software.
- Inventory cycle counting, as required.
- Keeping warehouse and truck access areas clean and orderly.
- Complete snow removal and lawn maintenance, as required.
- Contributing to a positive and safe team environment.

**Required**:

- Desire and enthusiasm to contribute to an efficient warehouse and growing business.
- Track record of punctuality, attention to detail, and good time management skills.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that weight up to 70lbs.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.

**Desired**:

- Warehouse experience.
- Experience with fall protection, forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Standard first aid and CPR.
- Experience with inventory control software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

**Business hours**: M-F, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Pay: $37,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
