The Production Specialist is an expert with skills and knowledge in Project Management and/or Technical knowledge in the areas of Production Services and Manufacturing. Their primary responsibility is to support and manage jobs through Production Services and Manufacturing, contributing to job dockets and ticket details. The Production Specialist manages communications of delivery issues, additional costs or other issues as necessary. Responsibilities also include:

- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with clients, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Ensure complete and accurate information for finalized job ticket/docket
- Manage product change requests throughout life cycle of product
- Coordinate designated outsourced products
- Monitor proof deliveries and approvals
- Maintain critical dates
- Ensure jobs are delivered to the customer on time/as per schedule
- Communicate with client and or Sales Executive
- Review products to find additional manufacturing efficiencies and cost savings
- Adherence to all Lowe-Martin procedures and policies, including Health and Safety, ISO and FSC

**EDUCATION**:

- Completion of High School diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary education or college/university in the graphic arts/print media

**EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE**:

- Minimum of three (3) years experience working in a fast-paced print environment
- Knowledge of principles for providing awesome customer service including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Thorough print knowledge is essential: Sheetfed, Digital printing, Direct mail, Variable printing, Warehousing and Bindery/finishing

**SKILLS**:

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Dedication to client requirements and service excellence are priorities in this role
- Strong math skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and quality consciousness are essential
- Creative and innovative solutions orientated and willing to think outside of the box
- Accuracy in tracking work in progress and follow-up on order status with various internal departments
- Accuracy and effectiveness translating client order specifications to internal docket instructions
- Ability to adjust changing priorities and maintain critical priorities
- Able to work with mínimal supervision; self-motivated and resourceful
- Bilingualism (English/French, verbal and written) is a definite asset
- Positive attitude and energy focused on Awesome Customer Service
- Strong technical proficiency with computers
- Effective deadline management and project management skills
