Your Contribution:
As a Materials Testing and Field Inspection Technician, you will work in collaboration with the Materials Team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Field inspection during placement of soils and aggregates including reviewing import materials, equipment used, construction sequencing and daily conditions
- Field compaction testing of soils & aggregates according to relevant test standards
- Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing
- Communicating results effectively with onsite personnel and Englobe supervisor
- Reviewing and properly referencing construction drawings
- Maintaining proper records of field testing and preparing daily test summary reports

Your Profile:

- Experience in construction and/or soil and aggregate testing is an asset
- Ability to handle samples up to 20kg of materials regularly
- Must have a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License in good standing and feel comfortable operating a truck
- Demonstrated interest and sensitivity towards occupational health and safety
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Willingness to work long, irregular construction hours potentially including weekends and holidays
