We are currently seeking a results-driven student/immigration service agent with a flair for sales and business development to join our expanding team.
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales & Lead Conversion (70%)**:
- Proactively generate client leads through various channels including online marketing, social media, referrals, educational fairs, and direct outreach.
- Conduct persuasive and informative consultations with prospective clients, understanding their needs and effectively presenting suitable Canadian educational/immigration programs.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to penetrate new markets and attract a diverse client base.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts using the company's CRM system.
- Address clients’ objections and concerns effectively to close sales.
**Business Development & Partnership Building (20%)**:
- Identify and research potential new B2B partners, including overseas educational/immigration consultants, language schools, high schools, and corporations, to generate client referrals.
- Actively seek out and develop new market segments and recruitment channels.
- Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking functions in Vancouver and potentially internationally to promote our services and identify new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of promotional materials, programs and presentations tailored for different markets and partners.
- Stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and new program offerings within the Canadian education sector to identify strategic advantages.
**Client Advising & Application Support (10%)**:
- Liaise with educational institutions on behalf of clients as needed.
**Qualifications and Skills**
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a sales-driven role, preferably within the international education or recruitment industry.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in business development, lead generation, and B2B partnership building is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Canadian education/immigration system and international student market trends.
**Knowledge & Skills**:
- Exceptional sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Strong business development acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Customer-centric approach with a passion for helping students achieve their goals.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage a high volume of leads and tasks.
- Fluency in English is essential.

- Knowledge of the Vancouver and British Columbia educational/immigration landscape.
