The Purple Butterfly Healing Centre is an integrative therapy centre nestled in historic downtown Hespeler. We are excited to offer growing opportunities for clinicians who specialize in trauma and attachment, play therapy and EMDR. This position does not have a guaranteed number of hours, but has the potential to support you to grow your practice. CAPT consultation/supervision and or EMDR consultation is available and may be negotiated as part of the terms of hiring. CAPT interns and EMDR basic trained clinicians are encouraged to apply.

**Independent Contractor Position**:
Provide counselling services, play therapy and EMDR to children, adolescents and families.

**Qualifications**:
MSW from a university of recognized standing with relevant knowledge, and clinical experience. Play therapy and or EMDR training will be considered an asset.

Must be registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Must be able to practice independently and obtain valid professional and general liability insurance.

Preference is for someone with at least 1-2 years of experience working with children, parents and families in general. An astute understanding of trauma and attachment rooted in theory. Knowledge of early child development.

Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screening check required before start date.

There may be some opportunity to provide service to clients remotely, although most child therapy would occur within the office.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 0-10 per week

**Salary**: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
