Limitless Automatics & Doors is **expanding into Edmonton**, and we’re looking for an experienced **Automatic Door Technician** to help us lay the foundation for our new branch. We’re one of Western Canada’s most trusted providers of **automatic and commercial door systems** — specializing in sales, service, and installations of automatic swing, sliding, and revolving doors, hollow metal, aluminum, glass, and more. With our headquarters in Calgary, this Edmonton expansion marks the next exciting chapter in our company’s growth.

**About the Role**

We're seeking a **skilled and self-directed technician** who can confidently handle installations, service calls, and site meetings. You’ll be the face of Limitless in Edmonton, working closely with GCs, electricians, and customers. This role includes occasional travel to Calgary for training, meetings, and shop pickups.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, service, and maintain automatic sliding, swing, and revolving door systems
- Install commercial doors (aluminum, steel, glass, wood) and related hardware
- Conduct site visits, take field measurements, and prep for upcoming installs
- Meet with general contractors and electricians to coordinate wire runs and integration
- Troubleshoot door systems and provide repair solutions
- Work with electrified hardware, access control components, actuators, relays, etc.
- Submit completed work orders and safety documentation through our software
- Maintain truck inventory and manage basic part ordering
- Train apprentices as needed and help uphold our high workmanship standards
- Represent Limitless with professionalism and pride on every site

**Who You Are**
- Experienced in automatic doors, glazing, commercial hardware, or similar trade
- Comfortable working independently with mínimal supervision
- Skilled in reading blueprints and understanding door hardware schedules
- Mechanically and electrically inclined — bonus if you’ve worked with access control or electrified components
- Organized, communicative, and good with customers and site teams
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract required
- Willing to travel occasionally to Calgary for team meetings or support
