**What We’re Offering**

Our Overhead Door Technician Assistants are responsible for assisting Technicians in the service and installation of overhead doors. Assistants will be provided on-the-job training and have the opportunity for career advancement as Technicians.

Assistants will primarily be taking direction from Technicians, ensure supply stocks are adequate, health and safety rules are followed, and completing work orders as instructed.

**What You Bring**
- Some experience working with tools and/or in the construction industry is an asset
- Willingness to learn and take accountability for mistakes
- Reliable, punctual, and have consistent work attendance
- Positive, team player attitude is required
- Able to lift and hold heavy loads (35kgs/80lbs)
- Able to work at heights (from ladders and mobile elevated work platforms).
- Safety certificates an asset but can be provided (CSTS, WHMIS, MEWP, Fall Pro, First Aid).

**What Else You Need to Know**
- Operational and working hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
- Providing a criminal record check and a valid driver’s license is a condition of employment.
- Providing proof of eligibility to work in Canada is also required.
- This job requires employees to work alone on occasion.
- Able and willing to work in all weather conditions
- We are an On Call Service company so willingness to work overtime and weekends is needed
- Drug and alcohol testing may be required as per client/site conditions

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
