Job Summary
As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to animals in a kennel environment. You responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of kennels and other areas of the clinic, aiding in ensuring the well-being of the animals, and assisting with various tasks to support the overall operation of the facility.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize kennels, preparing them for the next patient
- End-of-day cleaning tasks (mopping and tidying, garbage removal)
- Assisting veterinary assistants as needed throughout the day
- Laundry
- Cleaning of bathrooms
- Assist with moving animals or helping them into kennels when needed
- Assist in maintaining inventory supplies, helping to unload and put away orders
- Assist with cleaning and sterilization of surgical gowns and instruments as needed

**Requirements**:

- previous experience in animal care or related field is preferred but not required
- ability to lift up to 50lbs
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- ability to work seamlessly within the team
- willingness to work in a fast-paces environment
- 20-30 hours per week, may include shifts from Monday to Saturday
