Nursery and Office Assistant

We are looking for someone to fill a full-time position at a wholesale nursery. The wages are dependent on the skillset and the job entails any of the following tasks and more. We have a wide variety of jobs at the nursery, some of which will be outdoors so do keep this in mind.

**Responsibilities for the job**
- General office tasks (like typing invoices, data entry, doing quotes, phoning or speaking with clients, running payments, scheduling deliveries, ordering supplies etc.)
- General nursery tasks (like tagging plants, propagation, answering client questions, cleaning etc.)

**Skills and programs**
- SAGE accounting is a benefit
- Touch type of 40 WPM
- Excel and Word programs required
- Spanish and/or Punjabi speaking is a benefit but not required
- English speaking/writing mandatory
- Must be comfortable speaking on the phone and with people in person

Please also include if you have any other nursery related skills like plant identification, nursery/landscape experience, first aid or safety tickets as they will all be considered.

**Salary**: $16.75-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
