**Job description**
- **JRF Oilfield Services Ltd. and McLeod Valley Sand & Gravel is seeking an organized, detail orientated accounts receivable clerk to work in our Edson Office.**_
- **JRF Oilfield Services Ltd.**_ has been in business since 2007. We are a continuously growing, versatile transportation company serving the Edson and surrounding area. Our truck fleet consists of over 40 units including winch tractors, gravel trucks, water trucks, plow trucks, boom trucks and log pickers. We provide a wide range of services including oilfield hauling, gravel hauling, lease building, logging and civil earthwork.
- **McLeod Valley Sand & Gravel**_ has been in business since 2012. We are a proud leading aggregate supplier in Central Alberta, who currently owns/operates 18 gravel pits. Our fleet consists of 20+ loaders, dozers, excavators, graders, rock trucks, etc to allow us to efficiently strip, crush and reclaim gravel pits, as well as offer lease and road site preparation, maintenance and reclamation. McLeod Valley also completes all logging activities from stump to dump.
- **Responsibilities for this position include**:_
- Generate and send out invoices and monthly statements accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate customer accounts and files
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding payment, billing and current collections in a polite and professional manner
- Prepare bank deposits
- Process customer payments by way of credit card, EFT, e-transfer, cheque and cash
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a proactive manner
- Tracking product inventory
- Year-end reconciliations
- Handle internal inquiries from management
- Update rate sheets and client contracts per management as required
- Keep accurate records of rate updates and contracts
- Record and track gravel sales for gravel royalties as required
- Communicate with truck drivers and equipment operators for required documents and information for billing
- Orientate new drivers and operators on proper record keeping of gravel tickets and bill of ladings
- Input invoices online using Cortex and Open Invoice as required by clients
- **Required Skills**:_
- Minimum experience of 2 years as an accounts receivable clerk required
- Must Speak Fluent English
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced multi-company environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Previous experience with accounting programs
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Knowledge of the oilfield, gravel and logging industries is an asset
- Typing skills
- Effective multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of Macbook software
