Convenience Store Clerk

**Position Summary**
The C-Store Sales Clerk is responsible for maintaining a strong presence of customer service for walk in customers at Koch Fuel Products Edson location. The C-Store Sales Clerk will be responsible for providing friendly, polite customer service while maintaining a clean environment to all customers that come through the door. Various administrative and cleaning tasks will be apart of this position.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the C-Store Sales Clerk include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide friendly and respectful service to all walk in and phone in customers
- Have the ability to deal with unhappy or angry customers in a respectful way
- Maintain a clean environment for all customers
- Count and balance cash on a daily basis
- Maintain accurate records of all cigarette sales with a balanced reconciliation
- Ensure food is stocked at all times
- Ability to complete all work with constant interruptions
- Assist in reconciling all inventory
- Ability to order all types of products while following procedures
- Clean the c-store floors, windows, washrooms, and showers
**Minimum Requirements**
- Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Accountable and dependable
- Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks
- Experience with customer service preferred
Various start times between the operating hours of 5:30AM to 5:00PM.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
