Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Staff worker to join our team. As a Counter Staff worker, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our butcher shops.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Adhere to food safety standards and procedures
- Assist in basic kitchen tasks as required
- Take and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, debit and credit transactions. (Operate the cash register and debit/credit machine)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with possibility of long hours while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Hours:
- One Saturday shift every other week is guaranteed for training. (7hrs-10hrs in length) The better you become at the job, the more hours you will have the opportunity to work (Ex. Every Saturday)
- Be prepared to start as early as 5:30am or 6:30am
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
