**OVERVIEW**

The Content & Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating, collating and distributing content from across Parq Casino via the web, social media, blog and other owned channels.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Define, manage and execute content plan as it supports the Parq brand strategy
- Build out social media communities (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and create channel-specific content and be accountable for social media listening and engagement
- Work with internal and external partners to collect, collate and create multi-dimensional content to support brand
- Develop content and summaries for PR fact sheets and cool signs as it aligns with social media contests, campaigns, etc.
- Submit any necessary photography or video shoot requests to BCLC for approval
- Create monthly internal communications, property memorandums, maintain the event calendar and complete competitive analysis
- Passion for the casino/entertainment industry is reflected in the ability to create organic content on the casino floor, at events, interacting with casino guests, etc.
- Ability to attend events outside of regular working hours as needed, i.e. evenings and weekends

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 1-2 years of progressive experience in content development, content marketing and/or social media management
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Post-secondary qualifications in marketing or equivalent experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and interests
- Strong computer knowledge - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Casino, gambling or entertainment industry experience preferred

**CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
- Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
- Serving it Right Certification

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
